For business owners
Your business is unique. Your technology should be, too.
Your business shouldn't have to work around your software. Your software should work around your business.
Every business has its headaches. Maybe you're entering the same information into different systems, juggling disconnected spreadsheets, or spending too much time on work that should happen automatically. Or maybe your business has grown, but the technology behind it hasn't kept up.
That's where I come in. I help businesses design, build, and improve the technology that powers their daily operations. Sometimes the answer is connecting tools you already use. Sometimes it's creating custom software or building a better workflow from the ground up.
Whether you need to fix one frustrating process or rethink how several parts of your business work together, my goal is simple: less busywork, fewer headaches, and more time to focus on growing your business.
01Understand
Learn how your business actually runs today and where it hurts.
02Design
Map out a practical approach that fits the way you work.
03Build & connect
Create the software or link up the tools you already use.
04Refine
Keep improving it as your business grows and changes.
I love helping with everyday tech problems, but I've also spent years creating the behind-the-scenes systems that keep real businesses running. Here's a taste.

Ninja Transfers / Ninja Blanks
Helping a large online store run behind the scenes.
I helped build the Ninja Blanks shopping experience within Ninja Transfers, including systems that handle a massive apparel catalog, keep supplier inventory updated, and route orders through fulfillment workflows. It's a good example of how a smooth customer experience depends on smart technology behind the scenes.
ShirtsInBulk.com sells blank apparel to individuals and businesses. I developed the online shopping experience and the custom technology behind much of the order and fulfillment process. It's a business where automation does a lot of the heavy lifting, allowing things to run more efficiently without constant manual attention.
Making an old-school technology surprisingly simple.
I created FaxyFox, an online service that lets people send and receive faxes from a phone or computer—without owning a fax machine. From the customer experience to the systems running behind the scenes, it's an example of turning a complicated process into something approachable and useful.

About Ash
I've been a computer nerd since before it was cool.
Hi, I'm Ashraf—but you can call me Ash.
I've been programming computers for fun since I was eight years old, when I got started on an old IBM PCjr. Most kids were happy just playing computer games. I wanted to figure out how to make them.
By high school, my nerd credentials were officially established when I won a science competition. The prize? A pack of floppy disks.
Yes, floppy disks. And yes, I was genuinely excited.
That childhood curiosity turned into more than 25 years of professional experience building software, creating websites, helping businesses work smarter, and solving just about every kind of computer headache along the way.
I've built computers from scratch, too—including one with a wooden case I made myself. Apparently, a normal computer case wasn't interesting enough.
What I enjoy most hasn't changed: taking something complicated, figuring out how it works, and making it easier for someone else. Whether you need help with one frustrating spreadsheet or want to build an entire online business, I bring the same curiosity and care to the job.
Technology has changed a lot since my floppy disk days. I still love figuring it out.
Fun fact: I once built a foosball-playing robot.
Fun fact
Yep. I even built a computer out of wood.
I've built all kinds of computers over the years, but this one was a little unusual: a working computer in a custom wooden case. I wrote about the project on our DIY blog, complete with the build process and photos. It turns out computers and woodworking make a pretty entertaining combination.
Describe the problem or idea in your own words. No technical vocabulary required.

Step 2: Let's figure it out
I'll ask the right questions, explain the options, and help identify a sensible way forward.
3
Step 3: Get it done
Once we've agreed on the approach and scope, I'll get to work.
Quick questions, one-time fixes, and longer projects are all welcome.
No problem too small to ask about.
You don't need a big project to reach out. Maybe you need a formula fixed, a printer behaving, help choosing a new computer, or just someone to explain why something isn't working. I'm happy to hear about the little things, too.
Big tech ideas. Small tech frustrations. Same attention to detail.
Many software, website, spreadsheet, and computer questions can be handled remotely. Tell me what you're dealing with, and I'll let you know the best way to help.
Not necessarily. A quick computer question or a stubborn spreadsheet can be just as worth asking about as a large website project.
That's completely fine. Describe what you're trying to do—or what's going wrong—and we can start there.
It depends on the problem and the scope of the work. Once I understand what you need, I'll explain the options and any cost before we move forward.
Yes. I work on everything from individual website improvements to custom applications and systems that connect multiple parts of a business.
